Here are some things to try:

1) Keep hair off face as much as possible
2) If hair must be on face, use minimal styling products (hairspray is ok, waxes/gels are not)
3) Try switching to a BHA (salacylic acid) cleanser like Neutrogena Deep Clean. BHA will clean out your pores.
4) Use a lighter fluid-type moisturiser in the area. Heavy creams can cause congestion. Look for a moisturiser containing BHA in it as well.
5) A regular clay mask - once a week - can help
6) Exfoliating regularly is important in clearing up skin. Try Clinique 7 Day Scrub or Lush Angels on Bare Skin.

Good luck

Trust me, two words:

Glycolic acid

Due to its excellent capability to penetrate skin, glycolic acid finds applications in skin care products, most often as a chemical peel performed by a dermatologist in concentrations of 20%-80% or at-home kits in lower concentrations of 10%. It is used to improve the skin's appearance and texture. It may reduce wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and improve many other skin conditions. Once applied, glycolic acid reacts with the upper layer of the epidermis, weakening the binding properties of the lipids that hold the dead skin cells together. This allows the outer skin to "dissolve" revealing the underlying, healthier, smoother, brighter-looking skin.

Glycolic acid is isolated from natural sources and is inexpensively available. It can be prepared by the reaction of chloroacetic acid with sodium hydroxide followed by re-acidification.

In order to get rid of your acne this is what u do. Fisrt take a cloth and put soap on it and smush it around untill the whole rag is covered. Then scrub the acne really hard and where it's at. Do this in the morning and at night and in about one week it should be gone.
