Do you take on the extra job? It pays ok, its a fun bar/entertainment industry, it will help move me closer to my goals, its a starting position but plenty of room to advance, and i can work at improving my scheduling, and it will help keep me out of trouble. on the other hand, it is time consuming, it is a menial job to begin with, there are other job part time options, and additional work means additional scheduling conflicts with regular work. So do you go for it?

You should take it if you need the extra money. Plus it is fun and will help you move closer to your goals. It will be worth it.

If it will be a stepping stone to achieving your goals, I think you should go for it. Life is too short to settle. Anything worth attaining is worth working hard for.
