Can't pin down any one word, but one day a woman who I was communicating with and wondering if she'd ever notice me as a man or potential guy to date sent me an email that said ... "um ... I think the time has come for me where I need to ask if you're married" I smiled the rest of that week.

i think the nicest word to me would be mother/mommy. it means the world to almost everyone. it's a fort, it's comfort, it's happiness' memories' it's the past present and future.
