When disaster strike, many donation are collected. Is it really 100% of the donation being allocated to help victims or is it gone into someone else pocket? How much transperancy in handling this funds? to ensure us that our money did not gone down to drain.

the answer is no.

when you "donate" money to another person or organizations fund there will always be a handling charge before it ever reaches the victims.

the percentage of handling charge will vary from fund to fund. Investigate any fund before donating to them if you are interested in getting the biggest bang for your buck. they should have a track record of previous money they have taken in and how much went to them and how much went to where the person donated it meant to go. If this is not on public record a red flag should go up.

after a crisis, your heart will always want to help, but your head should also play a roll in making sure you are getting the most for your money, and not just lining someone elses pocket.

Most of the money reaches the victim.However there may be some cases where the people involved siphon off money.This happens because all human beings are not same with same compassion etc...
