She is mostly at home. She is always "tired"(not ill or anythin). She takes away all my energy.

I sometimes cannot stand her.

When I am trying to be understanding, my years are passing by. Should I care about myself or her?

it´s only natural feeling like that.
actually u can not do anything. only to try to find way so that u can breathe. that is change house if u can.

in any case u should not give all yr energy, because the more u give the more exchausted u´d be feeling afterwards.

remember: at a certain point mothers and fathers become just people, that if u cant stand u´ll have to find exits. (going out, trying to explain that u have a life and u cant be talking or taking care of them all the time).

then, a last thing. maybe yr mam needs someone to talk to, someone outside her close environment. if she is feeling tired, maybe she is having some kind of emotional gaps. try convincing her seeing a psychoanalyst. but dont make it yr problem. it´s not yours.

Sometimes we don't understand our parents - why they say what they do, why they behave the way they do. If you are in a position to be able to move out then it's probably a good idea but maintain a relationship with her. In a few years you might start to understand her better. Although it is hard, sometimes just having a good honest, if tearful, conversation is the best thing as you might always be reading each other the wrong way. You could try writing a letter to explain how you feel and how you would like to feel.

At least your mother is alive and well. Some people are not as fortunate. I don't speak to my mother. The first time I stopped speaking to her it was 12 years before I tried again and this time it's been 7. Be thankful that you have your mother in your life. If you don't want to be around her then don't be. That's what free will is about.

I was going through that very thing, I had to step back from that situation even though it hurt me.
I'm just giving her time to see what life is like with noone to care.
I'm praying that will make her want to live again & be a part of the family.
Sometimes you just have to let go...and pray they do the right things to bring you back.

I don't know how old you are but you need to appreciate your mom while she is alive, I know when your are young you don't think that far ahead..If something happens to her you will have lost the most precious person ever in your life...
