Because they're selfish. At one time they put hair dye in the eyes of bunnies and blinded them to see if women would have the same result if they were stupid enough to let hair dye drip into their eyes. Unbelievable.

Because in their mind they are thinking that its better to test something on a mindless feeling-less animal then a human,And that is not the case .we think we have the right to decide because we are the superior beings .
the only thing we can do is buy cosmetics that are against animal testing and hope that the company's go into bankruptcy

It bothers me when people try to make humans and animals equal. Cosmetics, medicine, vaccines, etc. all should be tested on animals first to make sure it is all safe for humans. If you are so disgusted by the practice, then don't wear any makeup or take medicine. But don't force anyone else to conform to your one-sided views.

Of course we don' t have the right to decide, but it's better than having a bunch of millionaire annoying housewives bringing a lawsuit against the cosmetic companies

Perhaps to make it more safe. If the cosmetics is good to animals maybe its goods for humans. Anyway, cosmetics is not known to be harmful to animals so its okey to have the test.

If you stopped testing on animals, all the animals would be unemployed. As a result you will not be able to get into any bars or pubs as they spend all their dole money

Because testing them on animals gives them better knowledge of how the products will affect humans. I guess.
