this is how I got started knitting. I just saw 2 episodes and the rest came naturally. now Ive been knitting since june 12, 2005 and made about 60 projects (anything that you can knit, ive probably already made.)

I find teaching kids to knit very frustrating. The only way to do it is to sit them on your lap!
But there are several very good magazines out at the moment, sort of week-by-week course, with a video. Have a look at WH Smith. You might be able to get the back numbers. Or have a look at your library. Or try Amazon.co.uk.

some craft stores have how to knit or crochet kits. look in the childerns craft section. try hobby lobby, micheals or walmart. good luck for both of you
