Here's the deal:
Wikipedia can be edited by anyone as long as they aren't blocked for any reason. So, Wikipedia can be edited by individuals, AND it can also be edited by some one who doesn't like what's there. So, when you were adding your stuff there that's what probably happened. Try going to that wiki's discussion page and pleading your case.
