there's a huge difference in a tailor and an editor!!! an editior looks over peoples' writings, checking for grammer, mechanics, word use, plot, etc before they get it published. a tailor is a person who makes and adjusts garments (clothing) for people. 2 very different professions if you ask me!!

A tailor cuts clothing to size - makes it fit. An editor corrects and cuts a story, book, or article to make it work for publication.

yes i think so coz both have habit to cut things around them
