something similar happened to my brother,if they are not married he has few legal rights.the best thing he can do is to not give up try and keep in touch with the mother and child, send money for his child's needs, most importantly dont get involved in any petty squabbles because ultimately the mother has the majority of the law behind her. eventually if he keeps this up the mother will realise he is a decent man and agree to some form of access i.e visits or contact by phone or letters.wish him luck from me.

Sometimes being an open ear id the best thing you can do. To truly support him it takes time, patience and of course, a great lawyer. My heart goes out to you. I hope you will help him find peace.

Just be there for him, be supportive.
Let him know he can always come to you for a shoulder to cry on or if he just needs to talk.
Right now he is hurting so bad, I think a friend is exactly what he needs and just tell him it will all turn out fine.
Keep giving him reassurances.

Do his leg work for him - trawl the internet and find out as much information as you can, talk to anyone you can, be on hand when he's ready to start doing something, and make it as easy as possible, though I think it'll be tough to make much headway in this case.

this is why i believe you should not have children with people from other countries! how many parents lose their children when their partners go back to their home country.
all i can suggest is that you support him by listening when he's upset and going to solicitors meetings, court hearings etc. be by his side and he'll be ok.

A friend will give you a shoulder to cry on; a good friend will help you hide the body!

if he is old and wise enuff to get a girl pregnant he's old enuff to sort his own problems out. Dealing with his problems for him will just make things worse, take him out and get him pzzed up with a new model, he'll soon move on.

Just be there for him. Be supportive and encourage him to fight for his rights to be a parent (as long as that is what he wants and will be a good parent).
