A little nervousness is always expected but just realize that the job is being posted because of a need that the company has to fill it. If you are the right person for the job, it's a win-win situation for you and the company. Don't look at it as an interview but rather a conversation during which you get to know each other better.

Something I do before I take a major test...I have horrible test anxiety...Repeat to yourself "Calm as a Hindu cow". What do they have to worry about? Nothing. If you tried to look your best and you think you could be the best person for the job, relax, smile, and turn on "you". Nothing will close down an interview faster than being fake and only telling them what they want to hear. Not saying you go in there and tell them how the cow eats the cabbage. Let them see that your a great person with a confident backbone and that you can get the job done.

Not thinking about the resultsn of the interview would reduce the nervousness. Be confident and do not bother about the outcome.

I've found rehearsing how I'd answer questions to be beneficial. Have a friend ask you interview questions. Remember to smile and keep eye contact. Restate the question before answering and take a few seconds to think about our answer before giving it. If they tell you to answer the first thing that comes to mind, then just tell them.
It is normal to feel nervous because you are uncertain of what to expect and want to make a good impression.

Don't take your interview serious. Take is very light. think what happened if you are not select. If you will not select it means some other better opportunity is waiting for you. One of my friend was from a poor family. during his studies in school he has appeared for the post of Helper (Peon) in GCF factory, jabalpur. But he failed in interview. He never desperate. He completed his graduation BE in Electrical engg from jabalpur. After passing BE he has selected in BHEL as Executive trainee. Now you wonder that in a period of 18 years he has become DGM in BHEL. This is truth. Always thing high, better opportunity always available in life.

Take deep breaths and tell yourself, you can do it. But of course, prepare properly and fully for the interview. Read all pertinent data of the company conducting it.
