I thought it was called Variable Stars, but doesnt start with L
Maybe Long Period Variables, Luminosity Variable Stars.
If you are looking for a specific star, i cant find any, maybe its Algol which is pronounced starting with an L

You probably mean the Lyrae variables. In fact they're officially RR Lyrae stars.
