I waited tables for 25 years and I have alot!
Some of mine are:
1. Kids running around while you're trying to serve hot coffee and food.
2. People on cell phones. I was taking an order at a table and just as I got to the man to take his order his cell phone rings and he tells me to wait. So here I'm standing there for about 2 minutes and I tell the woman that i'll come back and as I turn to walk away he grabs my arm and says "I told you to wait". I walked away and came back...later.
3. People who order something and insist that that wasn't what they ordered even though the other people at the table tell them that it is what they ordered.
4. People who want their order taken the second that they sit down because they're in a hurry and then sit for an hour. Or the ones who want their order taken as soon as they sit and then don't know what they want.
5. People who expect everything free and want to substitute everything...Gee can we substitute a steak for the bacon?

People who don't control their children
Snapping fingers at me
Order beef WELL DONE and ***** when it's not out in 15 min
Calling me across the room while I'm at another table
Make up their own menu! Recreating every dish...hey, I'm the one that has to deal with an irrate chef!!!
Substituting stupid things like instead of lettuce and tomato on my burger can I have mushrooms, bacon, and onion!!
Not remembering what they ordered - and look at me like I'M NUTS when I bring it to them...
Claiming to be in such a rush that even after they pay the check they sit at the table for 2 hours and ask me to refill their water 1800 times
cheap tippers...
I think that about covers it....:)

Just to name a few.
It really bothers me when I'm taking an order at one table and someone from another table is saying "excuse me miss can I get____." Cell phones really bother me also.
When you ask a table how they are doing and they say nothing to you.
When you ask them if they want something to drink and they reply "no thanks I don't drink" but when you come back with everyone else's they want a water or tea.
Campers that take up your table all night and then leave you $5.
Kids that run all over the place and pour the sugars on the table and salt and pepper.

People who sit and sit and sit after they finish their meal while the restaurant has a wait list. When the people waiting on a table ask if they will still get in on happy hour prices if they are seated after happy hours end since they were there before happy hour ended. I so much want to tell them to come earlier next week. People who stay for hours and hours after they finish their meal depriving you of income. People who leave a $5.00 tip on a $200.00 bill. People who complain just to get a free meal. People who call or e-mail corporate office to complain. People who make a mountain out of a mole hole.

Campers people that come in a little before the lunch rush with their newspaper order a cup of coffee and keep a four top covered all lunch and leave a 50 cent tip

im not a waitress but man that would be hard to deal with people like that. people are so rude and annoying. althought sometimes ive had servers act the same way, perhaps cause they are fed up with others by the time they get to me. my pet peeve is a waiter that doesnt write orders down, they try to remember it all. if your waiting on like one or two people great, but not 10. they always get it wrong, its so annoying.

a million- undesirable drivers. 2- while human beings do not call you back. 3- while my cellular telephone would not have provider. 4- while it takes too long in a resturant. 5- people who merely shop talking once you elect to get off the telephone. 6- Commericals. 7- while there is not any toliet paper in the bathing room. 8- long lines on the shop. 9- people who're rude. 10- Liars.

1. people that snap their fingers at me, and say hey..I'm not a dog. Escpecially rude if you are speaking with another guest.

3. people that are rude and think I'm beneath them because I serve food.(Little do they know I have a college degree), but choose to serve as it fits my schedule with the children.

People who stack their own plates at the table. Precriously blancing the largest plate on top of the smallest so that there is practically no way you will make it back to the kitchen with the teetering pile intact.
I might not know much, but i know how to stack plates, please let me do my job. :)
