Hello,
A Twinkie is a small snack sized cake similar to a cadbury mini-roll, but instead of being a roll it is about 4 inches long an inch and a half wide and an inch deep, it is a sealed light brown coloured cake that has a soft sweet creamy substance injected into itm and baked that way, and it's delicious, and full of carbohydrates and calories too, two twinkies = one days calorific intake, be careful if you are already slim, but it's ok to go crazy on them if you're a bit overweight. I have eaten them and I do like them, they are available in the uk, but I am not sure of the outlets that sell them, maybe tesco's or other large supermarkets, Asda might be your best bet though, because they are owned by the American company called Wallmart, ask, and you may be given.

A Twinkie is a "Golden Sponge Cake with a Creamy Filling" created by Hostess, and baked by Continental Baking Co., which is owned by Kansas City-based Interstate Bakeries Corporation. Twinkies measure 4" x 1" (10 cm x 2.5 cm) and are usually sold in packages of two.

In the United States, the Twinkie is commonly regarded as the quintessential junk food. Each Twinkie contains about 145 Calories (607 kilojoules). Five hundred million are produced each year.

Good Luck!!!

It is a sponge cake with white creme filling made by a company called "Hostess"; notorious for being the epitome of "junk food" and extremely high in both white sugar and various preservatives.

It has been said that a twinkie left unwrapped on the counter will never spoil.

I have not tested this hypothesis, however.

A Twinkie is a snack cake; it's basically sponge caked with a sweet creamy filling in the center, shaped rather like a miniature loaf. It's got TONS of calories, lots of trans-fats and sugar, and just about zero nutrition - but they taste GREAT. They're totally bad-for-you junk food, but people love 'em.

It is I believe a bar of something like sponge cake with a cream filling. I've never seen one.
I also gather that "twink" or "twinkie" is a slang term for a pretty, blond gay boy.

A Twinkie is an evil abomination of a snack, and a plausible legal defense from the 1970's.

It's a sort of a cake finger about the size of a cream eclair. They are a sort of golden yellow and very sweet. Much sweeter than any cake you will find in the UK (except Kendal mint cake) and have very long shelf lives. Some kinds contain a creamy syrupy centre.

Be careful if you do a search for twinkie. You may get some hom osexual sites as it is a term for young girly looking gay men!! My sis had a right shock when she was looking for bears with her little boy!! :O

White sponge cake filled with fake whipped cream in the middle. They have the longest shelf life of any food, that's why you here it as A joke. Seven years.
