This 4 -popper has a little hiccup. Does anybody know why it would be hard starting after the engine is warm? Starts fine when cold and runs just fine.

Could be many things. The fuel system is my gut reaction too. Check all the simple things first. Air filter, ignition cables, fuel filter.
Your starter could be on it's way out too. Old electrical Items can be aggravated by heat or cold. It may just need a tune up. Easy way to check plug wires is to bend them, if you see any cracks in the outer covering, they definitely need to be replaced.
