Cattle ranching is practiced all over the US. Most people think cattle ranches are large estates in the West or Southwestern US. But a cattle ranch can also consist of a small farmstead. There are no limitations to geographical regions. As long is there is a food and water source for grazing cattle there can be a ranch.

I used to live on a cattle ranch in Texas... and there are a lot of people there that do the same thing. Why... is because thats were home is.
There are probably cattle ranches in every state.. big or small... it wouldn't much matter.
