The best way to hire a cleaning person is to check with friends or relatives and coworkers...generally someone has a cleaning person who is reliable and trustworthy and are usually more than happy to give the referral. As a housekeeper, I have found that my best customers come from personal referrals.

Go though an Employment Agency,
they should keep information on the people.
I would pay the local Police Dept. to do finger printing
of the person/ people I want to hire.
Or find out where I could get it done.
Ask for a list of past Employers. Ask if you can call them.

Make sure she or he is bonded. Any claims will be paid through their bonding agent. You get your money, they deal with the cleaning person.

do you mean how will you make sure she doesnt steal from you or charge you to much for her services? if it's the latter, go through a reputible agency and discuss the rates with them...
