Depends, do you think he feels the same way? Telling him if he doesnt could make your friendshipp difficult, However not telling him could be leading you to miss out on something great.
Test the waters, light flirting, Get an idea of how he responds, if he responds with flirting, your golden, if not let it be if you wish to remain friends.
Its a tricky situation, so tread lightly untill your certain, or fairly certain enough to take the chance

Yes, better to tell. Keep it a secret and if they find out they will think your only there friend as you had an alterior motive.
Keep it a secret and you waste your heart loving somone who isn't being afforded the oportunity of loving you back.
