No, because the religion of the majority of the citizens is Roman Catholic. Abortion, divorce, and euthanasia is illegal

The Philippines is a Christian country, therefore according to Christian doctrines, abortion is murder and so does euthanasia.It is illegal religiously but might be accepted by the government for valid reasons and rare delicate cases that situation calls for.

Euthanasia or mercy-killing must not be legalized. Everybody deserves to live even if he/she is suffering from near death. Now, we had to acknowledge that everything has a purpose. Thus, there is nothing we can do than to wait. Wait until God's time come. Therefore let us not put ourselves to kill someone because of mercy but we should let God set us for our destiny.
