they want the children to stay with the mother even though the mother is a drug addicted child abuser! i don't understand why it is so easy for a child to be taken from a father but not a mother. also i am a woman but why would men have to pay alot for child support but the woman don't. and if the woman stops paying there is no consequences but if the man stops paying they lose their liscense and go to jail!

I got a good one for ya! My husband was paying $870 a month child support for ONE kid-he is a blue collar worker, to a wife who just got arrested for drugs, house raided.-now we have custody of the 17yr old that we have not seen in two years because she had gotten charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, among other charges. If this drug addicted loser slips up, she will get hers!!! I agree with you about the support issue-it is unfair. She probably makes a third less than him but will pay a LOT LESS. The funniest part of this is that on her vehicle is that license plate-I don't know if you are from Michigan or not, so you may not know what I am talking about, but it says with hearts and balloons or something-"KIDS, JUST LOVE EM." What a joke-$870 a month for her to be stupid with. No more-good luck and hope that you get what you need.

You've probably heard the expression "The law is an ***." Well it's the same wherever you go, so don't be too hard on Michigan.

the state is so broke that they make up laws to get paid. also the fact that there are more people on welfare in MI than students pre-k thru college seniors. i am so glad i left there and haven't been back.
