During my visit to India I plan to purchase a SIM card and use it on my mobile (triband). What is the cost of calls within India and what it cost to make calls to Australia, Canada and New Zealand? Also the cost of a SIM card?

when u are in india just move to a mobile outlet and find the plan which suits u better
u have lot of plans to choose
i suggest u to subscribe for AIRTEL which is the best in india

There are different providers with different tariffs in India, although the main contenders (that i know of) are airtel, bsnl, hutch....these names also vary from state to state, so up to you
