My daughter was eating the grapes off the shelf while I wasn't looking. She had 4 in her pocket when we got in the car. I didn't buy any grapes, I bought potatoes.

ha i used to do that all the time as a child! i know this one guy that eats all kinds of food in the grocery store and never plans on buying any of it. its embarassing somtimes but its funny too cause he will just go through line and talk to the cashier while eating a foot long sub and then just walk out the front door still eating it as they wach him do it and dont even realize. personaly i think its kinda the stores fault for not noticing it right in front of them.

he he :) yeah I'm also a grape tester- and no I dont always buy grapes either. I also drink my diet coke in the store before I get to the til, but I do still always pay for it! I knew a guy who used to go and get a few pies, walk around the shop and eat them and then throw away the packets on a shelf and walk out - that is low man.

Let me tell you what I did at the age of say 28-32 ?
I was with my mother in a furniture store ,she was looking on one floor of this store(there must,ve been 5 floors !) I was getting tired it had been along day shopping w/her and my 3 kids..Shewwww
So when pouting to mom "hurry up mom""I,m ready to go"
Didn,t Work I ran to the next floor,No Body else was on this floor.When my mom made it up the stairs .I shocked the piss out of her ~You see I was trying out the BEDS Jumping From One to The Other all over the place ,back and forth,saying to my mom
Are you ready to go yet?? Shhhhh Good thing MY KIDS Didn,t see Me do this.. IT wasn,t funny but then again it was... When i was a lil'kid i always wanted to do this but NEVER would Nor had the Opertunity~You see
My mom was laughing after the fact [maybe she did to herself?]
But let Me KnoW She wasn,t pleased or impressed and thought The store would soon be having to call an ambulance for my broken head or to remove her foot from my butt,

In Australia it is generally accepted that people will try the grapes it is not considered a crime.

I would do that in the candy section when I was a kid... I don't think people care if it's a kid doing it but if you see a grown man waist deep in the M&M barrel then some people might get a little pissed.
