darth vader or magneto?
(yes darth vader has a light saber)
this compelling question actually sparked a 3-day debate between two of my co-workers.
who do you think would win, and why?

depends if they fight home or away. if on the death star it would be magneto as he would just crush Vader with all the metal around! but if on a normal comic book street Vader cos he has only got metal in his limbs and doesn't need them for using force powers. so he could uproot walls and trees on magnetos ****! excellent question by the way very thought provoking for us sci fi geeks.

Darth Vader would win, there is no evidence that any parts of Darth Vader are actually metal for all we know it could be all carbon fibre and optical nerves inside, and even if there was metal, there is no way of knowing for sure that Magneto could manipulate it cos it comes from a galaxy far far away.

darth vader he's be able to sense magneto coming and zapp him with lighting. but then again magneto does wear that helmet which stops charles xaiver from reading his mind that might stop darth vader detecting him and darth vader is made mostly of metal. hhhhhmmmmmmmm it's not that easy of a question. have to think some more on this one. and there is a lot of metal on darth vader after his battle with obi wan at the end of revenge of the sith there's not much left of poor anakin and he gets rebuilt

This is a very good question! Its tempting 2 go either way, but in the end Vader has the upper hand.
1. The force
2. No remorse
3. While magneto can manipulate metal, Vader can manipulate any thing.

I don't care, but to Clomtancy. Vader's entire outfit is robotic. His body was destroyed, and last time I checked, electronics have metal in them. As for who would win. Nah, forget that, where do you work? I want to work somewhere where I can spend my time debating things like this.

he has the force...
all magneto can do is bend metal.
if you look at Vaders outfit there's not a lot of metal there.... its plastic and leather.
