A boring person is a selfish person. A person that wants to talk about him/herself without showing ANY interest in you and your ideas/opinions.
This category does not know they are boring. They think they are cool because they have an opinion on almost anything.

On the other hand there are boring people that have nothing going for them and basically live uneventful lives, have a boring job and a boring partner. They know they are boring but are too scared to change.

In my opinion, a boring person is self-preoccupied and the only topic they can speak about is himself. They dont allow room for you to speak and ignore things you say redirecting conversation about themselves. Or its someone that repeats the same story over and over. Its amazing how thick some people can be, its so easy to tell what impact what you just said had on the person infront of you. I dont get how people can be so involved in themselves.

Predictability. When you just look at them and you instantly know that they're not going to do/say anything smart or new. Some people said stupidity, but for me that doesn't equal boring. I think real stupid people can be a lot of fun to others. Especially the bragging type. As for them being aware of it or not, I think most are not.

My insurance man use to be boring when he said "would you like to pay a little extra it will be an advantage when you reach maturity age". Not only was he being boring but pessimistic. I'm quite sure he knew that.

In my opinion it is someone that keeps going over the same
story. They keep talking about it and you just want scream
and say I know you told me 100 times already! Then when
you try to say something they don,t want to know. It,s so
maddening and one day I will tell her! I don,t think this person
knows it - she is a nice person. But boring.

(1) Someone who talks about him/herself all the time and shows no interest in the person they are talking to.
(2) Someone whose only interest in anything is how much it costs.
(3) Someone who boasts about all the expensive possessions they have, especially when they are talking to someone who is counting their pennies!
They should realise that they are boring when their 'victim' makes an excuse and leaves, but I doubt it - they tend to be so self centred they assume the other person is rude!

Don't think so - the boring ones are usually the loudest. They must think they're fascinating. The quiet ones sit there taking it all in, then come out with something interesting.

Everybody's trying their best, so even if you think a person is boring, I think it's best to cut them a break.

After all, it's not as if your s h i t doesn't stink. Maybe you're not boring, but you might have some other character flaw that's even worse.

I find people who constantly talk about themselves [and how "wonderful" they are] boring. And no, I don't think they realize they are boring--they actually believe that highly of themselves! They actually believe that everyone will think they are "wonderful" if told enough!

People who tell the same stories over and over, and they're ALWAYS the hero who was right when everyone else was wrong. No, they don't know they're boring. They themselves are fascinated by their stories and think everyone else is fascinated too.
