Many thanks for all previous answers. Where do I find the concealed inertia switch to check if it is needing re-set? Also, how do I test for immobilisor fault?

Sitting in the drivers seat, it is that funny little box just under the dash on the left side kick panel. There is a button on the top... push the button back down.

If that doesn't work, pull the button up.

There is a plastic cover that snaps off really easily, and it has a hole in the top for easy access to the button, but if you can't see the button, just pull the cover off. Just grab it and pull. The button is on top... it is almost like a shaft. Just push down on it.... if it doesn't click into position, pull up.

the early vehicles had them concealed behind the kick pannel to the left of the passenger footwell later ones may be in behind centre console if your parked on a slope and the oil level is deemed to be low by the sump sensor it will prevent starting by inhibiting the fuel pumps
