If it were normal to be gays and lesbians, then no female could give birth as they wont have sex with men so you wouldnt even be on earth now! Have you ever thought about that? How can you still say that to be a gay/lesbian is normal?

What about women born without the ability to have children? What about men born sterile?Perhaps gay people is natures way of setting a balance to prevent over population. And what is normal?Normality is only so because we deem it so.It may not be normal for you to be gay but that is because you deem it to not be normal for you to be gay.But I am gay and it is normal for me.What would be abnormal for me is to be straight.I have no sexual or emotional interests in women and I have never had any emotional or sexual interests in women. That is normal for me.And I know that nature made me this way.I don't need your approval or understanding.Have you ever thought about that?

I can say that being Gay/lesbian is normal because there is and has always been a segment of society that doesn't have children. Those within that segment do perform many important functions, we are human beings, not a virus simply put here to do nothing more than make more people.
What precisely do you think the end result would be if every person that could have a baby did? There are 7 billion people in the world at this time and that number is on a steady increase. Where will the food come from? Where will you dispose of the waste products? As it stands there are millions starving to death around the world yet you think it's normal to have a child just because you can?
Your "argument" is empty and without thought or merit.

Being gay and lesbian is normal. It keeps the birth rate down.
I don't know any one that is gay or lesbian that wants the whole world to be that way. I have straight Friends and family members. Just think of it like this. If 10% of the world all of the sudden changed and Choose to be straight. How many more babies would there be? There are over 6 billion people on the planet and the females out # the males 3 to 1.. So we would have even more babies and then what? What would they eat? Where would they live? Come on its basic math. We would all starve to death in no time. How else can nature fight the bible when it tells men to go out and multiply
The world would be fine with out giving birth to children.
The world would go on.. It would be better off with out man
Man is the one cutting down the trees and over fishing and Polluting it..
The world would be fine.. Man would be gone.
Did that answer your question?

for me, its not normal. and to see your point,if it were and say for example, there were no heterosexual people on the earth and only gays or lesbians AND they had no interest whatsoever in each other, then humans would become extinct if not began at all, common sense. many people say hey, it has nothing to do with sex,it has to do with 2 people loving each other, well it does, what do 2 people do who love each other? they have sex, gays and lesbians can get pleasure out of what they call sex(sorry) but they can do that ALL night and wont produce a child, anyways to answer your question, humans would be extinct. I can love someone of the same sex ,but like a brother, crawling into the bed with them and putting things where they arent supposed to go is pointless.

Normal has nothing to do with it NORMAL is based on simple majority at the moment it changes through history... BUT
GREAT! Less people.. isnt the world crowed enough?
That premise states basically people are Baby factories.. OK go back to your trailers and breed then.. Really do I give a rats *** if humans go extinct by not breeding like rats? ANSWER: NO!
Do I care about future generations? Umm No not really.. Humans will go extinct one way or the other its inevitable.. (and likely they will do it to themselves)
Why do I care? I feel no need to breed the next generation of talking monkeys.. the real question is WHY DO YOU?
Oh and BTW with In Vitro and cloning well males are pretty much obsolete sex/reproduction wise ya know.. SO.. not a good argument really scientifically.. fact is they DONT NEED US any more for reproduction..

I don't think it is normal. I KNOW it is. There is nothing stopping lesbian women from being impregnated by gay men (other than a lack of desire for one another), naturally. There is also such a thing as artificial insemination. Your question is puerile, entirely hypothetical and belies a complete misunderstanding of what constitutes normalcy.
The normality of something has nothing to do with its modal frequency. It has to do with the constancy of an attribute in a given environment. LGBTs have knowingly existed since records began. Homosexual behaviour is noted throughout the Animal Kingdom so it is Natural also.

Might be that to understand the gay thing you'd have to be married and you and your spouse would have to have a child, and you know, the child turn out to be gay.
If that were to happen to you, then you might initially scratch your head, wonder how a wonderful straight couple like the two of you could possibly have a gay child. At first you might be in denial; that is refuse to believe this happend to you. Later, you'd have to admit it to yourselves. And even later, you might eventually say, well if it happened to us, then it must be normal.
This hasn't happened to me, so I can't speak from experience. But you could write to Vice President Cheney. He has a gay daughter I think. Maybe he can share some thoughts with you that might help you better understand the gay thing and why some people refer to it as normal and others find it difficult to accept the idea.

Lets not crowd the doorway. Of course we don't think everyone should be gay. We just think the ones who aren't should understand that the world is made up of all kinds of people. You don't have to particularly like them all, but we're here just the same and complaining about us or others that are different than yourself doesn't achieve anything. I may or may not like you, but that doesn't give me the right to question your existence. And by the way my three grown children and eight grandchildren were brought into this wonderful world by this gay man. We can make babies too.

Your questions presupposes that normal means everyone. You are correct, it couldn't be normal for everyone to be gay, since that would cause a problem with reproduction (though gay people are certainly capable of reproducing should they choose to do so.) However normal does not mean everyone. Normal just means normal. The issue isn't whether it is normal for everyone to be gay. The issue is whether it is normal for some people to be gay. In my opinion the answer is yes, and more and more evidence suggests this. Especially when you look to the animal kingdom itself and see that there are numerous types of animals (besides human beings) that engage in homosexual behavior.

it IS normal that some of the population are gay and lesbian. but, FYI, we CAN and DO have children. not just by adoption, but biological children. I have several gay and lesbian friends who have their own children. considering we have been around as long as there have been humans, it's apparent that we have no effect on the world's population. how can you say that passing judgment on others and preaching intolerance is normal? hate is a learned and chosen behavior. no one is naturally prejudice against anyone. this is something that family and friends teach you growing up. Irrational hatred is not normal!
