Me too.
Firstly I must point out that I know that evolution is just a theory and not proven fact. Unless we were able to go back into time and see things happen then it will always remain just a theory. However, in lieu of a time machine precise calculations plus precision instruments and visual evidence show fossils of creatures that appear to be half one thing and half something else ( like a snake with short legs, not yet a fully fledged legless snake but less than the lizard from which it's ancestral roots had come) this evidence cannot be disregarded or dismissed in the manner that creationists do. To do so is to blind yourself to proof.

Vulcanology has shown that the earth is far older than the perceived 6000 years that creationists believe. You cannot dismiss evidence of plate tectonics. The Mid-Atlantic Rift has been pushing the continents of Africa and South America apart for millions of years. If you were to travel to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean and examine closely over a period of time the new ground that is being created by the volcanic activity along the rift, then you would see that it pushes the continents apart little by little. This new ground can be measured. Then you take that measurement and divide it by the distance between the two continents and there you have a good proven theory about the time in which it has taken for the two continents to part company. When the continents are rotated back together, the ages of bedrock units generally match. They match particularly well between northeast Brazil and West Africa. This is evidence that the continents were once joined.
Creationists are ignoring the facts and concentrate on the unproven theories to put their case across.
By the way, I am a God fearing christian, but there are things in the Bible that I do not agree with.

Creationism is just the last gasps of life for those who believe in the existence of God - whose beliefs are continuously being discredited by science! People believed that man has been around for a few thousand years - we now know they have been around for millions. They believe the Earth was thousands of years old - we now know it is billions. The Bible discusses only people living in the middle-east, but Africans, Chinese, Scandinavians, Native Americans, etc... existed at that time. Why does the Bible (the "word" of God) not mention their civilizations?!!
