Gene is bigger legend. Eddie more talented. Legendary doesn't always mean better.

Gene Simmons, without a doubt. I love both bands KISS and Van Halen, but in my opion Gene a bigger legend by what he has done besides music.

I have to choose Eddie van halen, his guitar is really incredible, no one will do the same with him.
Even gene simmons is always a very good song writter and producer.

Eddie Van Halen for sure, I hear alot more of Van Halen songs on the radio than Kiss ones

EVH, no question about it
Gene Simmons was cool at one point, but with the release of their "Kiss" fragrance and snacks - they've lost all respect for anything that was ever cool on this planet. What a complete sell out Kiss is.
Even though, EVH completely kills Simmons in every aspect of Rock.
