You cannot get "rid" of a concussion quickly!! Don't submit yourself to further injury, just let your brain heal. THIS IS YOUR BRAIN that you are talking about, brain injuries are compounded with each successive occurance! In other words, if you try to rush the healing process you may be engaging in activity that your brain is not ready for and you risk another concussion. When you add these up it is like "multiplying" the long term effects not "adding" to them. Over time things like remembering your friend's name, or how to talk, or how to count, etc. become more and more difficult. LET YOUR BRAIN HEAL!

There is nothing you can do to speed the recovery of a concussion. The swelling of your brain needs to go down on its own. Engaging in normal activity before the brain is allowed to heal is risking further damage to the brain and possibly death. Also every time you get a concussion it becomes easier for you to get another one. so watch how many you get.

The swelling has to go away on it's own. There is no quickly with any type of injury.
