The strength of a relationship (whether it is of opposite sex or same sex) is totally dependent on the people involved. Relationships do not automatically happen, they take work, so it depends on how much both people are willing to put into it.

In a word, no. Some gay (same sex) relationships are strong .. some are not ... some are physical, some more compassionate, some more sexual, some more supportive. Others a less on the same 'list'.
In my opinion, relationships come in all colours, shapes and sizes. Relationships between two people vary on so many dimensions that sexual orientation of the partners is only one component of the 'quality' of the relationship.
One difficulty of gay relationships is that formal recognition of these relationships is lacking. Religions continue to preach that homosexuality is 'evil' and worse. Even though the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights has put forth an anti-discrimination edict based on sexual orientation or preferences, many governments around the world still treat homosexuality as a criminal offense. In some societies, homosexuality is punishable by death. Other societies, like Singapore, prohibit positive presentations of homosexuality. Sections 377 and 377A of the Singapore laws is in direct conflict with the UNDHR.
Only recently have jurisdictions allowed recognition of same sex relationship on the same basis as opposite sex relationships.
To compare strength is difficult when there is so much governmental and religious prejudice against same sex relationships. It appears to me that the only 'unnatural' sexuality is celibacy. If some people are attracted to same sex partners for emotional, loving, and / or sexual contacts, why should any society deny them that right?

I believe a gay relationship IS stronger than a straight relationship. If you are gay, you and your partner should feel a closeness you have never experienced before. I am a lesbian and my wife is AWESOME!! Whenever we're together, I can't help but to touch her! It doesn't matter if we're in public or at home, I'm either holding her hand or touching her back. Sitting at home on the couch watching t.v. I have to have my hand on her leg or her cuddled up next to me!
I have NEVER had that feeling with ANY man I have been with. I was married twice before to men and am now divorced from them and MARRIED to this BEAUTIFUL, SEXY, HOT woman whom I will NEVER trade for another man or woman! My wife and I finish one anothers thoughts every day when we're together and not at work. We know what the other is thinking most of the time. I LOVE every minute I spend with my wife and would not trade her for ANYTHING!

They are no more or less strong then straight relationships. Some last weeks and some last months and some last years and some last a lifetime.Though many gay men I have known consider any relationship that lasts a month or more to be a "long" relationship, I suspect that is just done in humor.I have known many gay men in long lasting relationships, myself included. But I have know many who can't ever seem to last in a relationship. But I have know straight people with both long lasting and short lived relationships.

Any relationship is only as strong as the people involved. Whether gay or straight, lovers or friends the commitment of both is vital, otherwise it a terrible waste of time and emotions.

Some times.. Not always..
I know that I have friends that change boyfriends like hats. I have been with the same woman for almost 4 years.
I have a coworker who has been with his hubby for 10 years and I know a lesbian couple that have been together 30 years.
the thing is it can be. It takes a man to know a man and it takes a woman to know a woman.
But my mom and dad were together for over 34 years. {he passed} so I think its just the couple. they might last they might not
Who knows... not me my crystal balls in the shop

nope. sorry to disappoint you in your thinking but gays have their problems too with about the same regularity of the straight people.
I have seen a lot of gay couples break up as well as straight.
maybe since there is no marriage license its harder to track the break ups but if you knew what you where talking about you would know that its about the same chance of success in relationships...research you will see

No more stronger no less weaker.
It depends on the individuals involved and not on their gender.

I don't believe or accept.
Gay relation may be modern, may be approved by law however at the end its against nature. The nature's laws have been established by nature's own trials and errors of millions and millions years. Therefore anything against nature can not be stronger than that of nature.
