Victor,

BPO usually is short for Blanket Purchase Order.

It means that a business can make one purchase order to a vendor and get whatever they need from that vendor to a set money limi for a period of time.

Example: Your company can issue a Blanket Purchase Order to Office Depot for a total of $8000/for the upcoming quarter (three months) So, your office will not have to issue Purchase Orders for office supplies for the next three months, unless you spend more than the limit, in this example, $8000.
