I'm feeling very depressed. Completely empty and completely amoral. The only thing I look forward to every day is to act and recently I just can't. I can't even deliver one simple line that any moron could say. I use to make people cry! Its got me depressed. I can't sleep. I can't eat. I can't feel anymore. I want some suggestions. Can anyone give me some suggestions, please?

feeling depressed is not an abnormal thing. every body passes through such faces in his life. But, it is good that you have recognized your mood and trying to overcome the same. The best way to get rid of such a situation lies in getting your attention diverted from the existing state. For this you can adopt simple methods like listening to music or reading or playing some musical instrument etc. For a better solution you can learn meditation or Yoga or join the classes for the art of Living sort of courses. Such courses will give you permanent peace of mind . For the time being, you can try- Simply close your eyes, concentrate on any part of your body say thumb of your right hand and repeat the words- I am getting rid of depression continuously for 108 times. And whenever you face such situation repeat the practice. You will definitely get benefit out of it.

Dear Daniel,
You're problem isn't with whatever reason that made you be that way..
Nor it is that your life is too boring and needs to change..
Nor it is that your personality isn't good enough to help you out of this.


You're simply trapped. Trapped in your own feelings, ones you don't even need. People usually get to a point where everything becomes meaningless and odourless but this is just some kind of phase where the human mind looses its psycological 'cheerful' support.
Usually because they face too much depressing incidents for them to face with cheerful and optimistic thoughts. Or sometimes even just because they lost optimism for some little time.

Anyway, regardless the reason why, now you know the solution.
Not to change your lifestyle or yourself, but add a little cheer and optimism to YOU inside.
It's not easy, you need to find what inspires you.. what makes you happy and what MOTIVATES you to be a better person.

And remember, feelings are but a cage in which WE trap ourselves.

Some choose the half- filled cup and others choose the half- empty. Which will you choose?

Even in your darkest days ever, you can still be optimistic if you choose to. And it WILL change your life.

Have you thought of changing your career? why not become a musician? I believe actors make great entertainers' and brilliantly. There's more to acting than saying a few lines, you can become anyone you want and with style.
Don't be hard on yourself there are a million of us who don't get the opportunity of making an audition or play a part. I suggest you
try believing in yourself again.

go and talk to someone real about this, if they don't understand what you mean then talk to someone else until someone gets what you mean. I lived with depression for years and kept it hidden from everyone, all it took was for someone to listen and that was the start to feeling more 'normal' within myself.

You could also put a photo of G W Bush on the wall, if your feeling like everyone hates you and your life sucks, just look at George and say to yourself "I'm glad I'm not that guy"

Find something to concentrate on or responsible for like having a family and kids. When ur responsible is heavier u have no extra time to let ur feel such ways.

Create a new life for yourself, go to Africa, teach English, communication skills and something of value, how to laugh, and help the children to find the world.

See your MD. If he or she can't help, get them to refer you to a shrink. You do have clear symptoms of clinical depression, and that's NOT likely to get better on it's own anytime soon.

God helps them who helps themselves. I wondered really what that meant? You have to be the one to make changes in your life if you want/expect true change.Start with small changes in your routine.and you will see a difference.
