Legend of Zelda Twilight princess: Where exactly is the mother and child rock?

I can not catch a red fish and I already have the earring. Please help I need specific details. Thanks

What two rocks? The ones in the water? should I be standing on the lower ledge? Does it take a long time? Should I be using bait? I don't know please please help.

The Mother and Child rocks are the two rocks jutting up from the water in Zora's Domain and you cast your fishing rod from the ledge nearest to the rocks; you do not need bait to catch the reekfish. All you have to do after you cast the rod is to watch the bobber and wait for the green line on it to submerge; that's when you pull the rod up until you see Link holding the fish. Then quickly transform into a wolf to catch the reekfish scent.

if you swim in the zora's lake below the water fall you will see two rocks that, from the surface seem seperate but under the water they are connected. that is the mother and child rock. you can even see the red reekfish swimming near there. it should be almost directly across from the Snowpeak entrance. You don't need bait and it really doesn't take long. once you catch one turn into a wolf (you should be able to do it right there or just move back a couple steps) smell the fish and swim across to Snowpeak. use your senses and follow the trail!

go to Zora's Domain and fall down to the large lake at the bottom, as soon as you fall look to your left and their should be 2 rocks side by side...one is taller than the other. and as an added tip...once you catch a red fish there transform into Wolf Link and sniff the fish...that will get you your scent to get up snowpeak!!! anymore questions let me know i just beat the game.

It's at Zora's Domain, in the Waterfall area. Fish there for the fish and then sniff it in wolf form, and then, go to Snowpeak and follow the scent until you meet the Yeti.

its on da other side from the snowpeak entrance its a big rock and little rock together in da water and ull see red fish once u catch it sniff it then u can go 2 snowpeak
