It's only peripherally about Al Gore, because he had the money to get the DVD produced and send out the wake up message. It's really about the climate change issue, and just look at the mini-poll right here. Apparently six out of eleven aren't taking it seriously.
To wild_eep, Al Gore, yupchagee, P.I.Stingray, nick9399, silly gorbie: What's up with you guys? Forget the man; in 30 years, people will say, who's AL Gore? The important thing is the message. Your arrogance is simply astounding! What makes you think you know more than the world community of scientists that have spent years doing the research? You do know that a survey of the peer-reviewed literature for the 10 year time span 1993-2003 turned up 928 articles supporting the consensus opinion and ZERO articles disputing it?

This could be the most important issue in our lifetimes. I feel as though the White House hasn't (again) been honest in providing the public with all the facts on their scientific studies of the affects of global warming. Al Gore has given decades of his life to ecological issues. His documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" was evaluated for accuracy by many of the world's scientists. The only facts they dispute is of our ability to recover from global warming so easily, that the world will not be as forgiving at the rate the climate change is occuring. Congress had better take the lead on this because the WH is not. Am I? I do my part by saving energy, driving my car less, riding a bike, using smaller wattage light bulbs, recycling, and so forth.

Take Al Gore seriously? Are you serious? The man is so obsessed with himself that he claims to have invented the internet! Ever since he lost the presidential election, he has tried every means to get back into the spotlight. NO, l think politicians are not taking him seriously and for a good reason. Even though there is a possibility of global warming, having Al Gore as its supporter leads one to believe just the opposite.

No it does not. they are using made up technological information and blaming the climate substitute on CO2 gasoline, which isn't a 'greenhouse' gasoline. flowers choose for it for survival, and their by potential of-product is oxygen which darn close to each little thing else needs to respire. the reality that he and his friends would be getting rich off this rip-off does not help the two. There have even been comments released that there replaced into extra CO2 interior the ambience in the time of the Roman Empire days than there is now. How did THAT ensue, and purely the place did all of it bypass? Why is it certainly one of those concern now?

As smug and narrow as the useful idiot who made this question appears, I'd take the Al gore who posted in this thread seriously before I'd take someone who was a heartbeat away from the president and made no moves for environmental improvement. The science supports Global warming, there is no doubt, but this dolt is just looking for a way to stay in the public eye.

Tell you what go get a novel written by Michael Crichton(Jurrasic Park, Congo, The Andromeda Strain) called "State of Fear" and read it. Granted it is fiction, but it is based on fact and he lists all of his sources which are major universitys and scientists(not Al Sharpton Gore). You might change your stance on things if you're not afraid.

Politicians: no, certainly not.
Me: I avoid reading the science these days; the news is just too bad to think about. I have kids - it puts a perspective on these things.

The earth gets cooler...the earth get a little warmer...nothing to do with man's activities. Man being the causes of global warming is a myth.
