Who remembers the bruised arms from the whacky clackers?

that's not funny, my whacky clackers got caught in my slinky and my mom said i would lose my eyesight if i kept playing with them. so i just picked up my steel pointed yard darts and real crocquet set and played outside. to believe i lived to tell about it.

I can't remember the whacky clackers, but I can remember the crazy straws, they make drinking drinks so much fun.

Heck yea I remember whacky clackers, almost took my eye out not to mention all the other injuries. Crazy straws had to have one of those, do they still make crazy straws?

Ooo, I do. I had a many of those bruises myself. I loved the clackers and played with them for so much, I broke three sets of them. I remember I could only play with them outside since the noise was so intenses.. My arms stayed bruised.

Oh, what times! The clackers were made from glass which now would be a no no since they might be dangerous! Toys today are too safe - and boring! I mean come on - why don't they have Lawn Darts anymore?!

Oh man....! Why don't you just ask 'how many old farts are in the room?'!! I used to have clackers, but my mum decided that they were not a good idea after I gave myself a pair of black eyes while trying to do something spectacular.

I had a straw that was curly wurly and had a Mia the Bee perched on the top... bet you can't beat that :) do you remember Mia the Bee? She was like totally rad :) almost as cool as Gummy Bears but not quite.

ME! ME! They still make crazy straws (got one for my granddaughter) but the clackers must have been judged "too dangerous" (amazing we all lived to grow up! lol) Thanks for the grin!
