I have 8 & 6 yrs old kids left in Papua New Guinea. My papers are still on process, I can't go back.

Tell them the truth. That you love them so very much & that you will be seeing them as soon as your papers are processed. But, until then you can talk on the phone. Have your children draw you pictures or buy them one of those desposable cameras & tell your kids to take pictures to send to you.

Explain to them the reason why you can't go back for the time being and that you will be there as soon as you are allowed to be there.
