I use both of them.
With Ebay there is no telling how much you will get for your items - if it is something that you think many people will want then sell it here. Amazon is probably still the best place to sell CD's, DVD's and books though. You decide how much it is worth and sell it for that amount. You also get an allowance for postage (amazon take a percentage of the overall). They then pay direct into your bank account every 2 weeks.

I use E Bay because there is a time limit on sales,with Amazon I found that the extended time the advertising lasted meant I had to check for sales all most daily.
