I would choose my Ferrets. I don't know why, I just would. I have 3 ferrets and 2 cats, as sad as it may seem if I had to make a choice between them, the cats would be the ones that would go. I love them all and luckily for them I don't have to choose.

It depends on your home. If you don't have a yard and it is hard to walk the animal you may stay away from a dog. However if you have the ability to let your dog go outside to relieve them self I would defiantly go for a dog. Dogs are wonderful animals and there is no other animal that bonds to us the way they do.
If you can't let the animal go out then I would consider a cat unless you have allergies. Ferrets are interesting but they are a lot more work and no matter how you care for them they will smell and make your home smell. A vet can de-smell them but that still does not stop all the smell.
An animal you didn't mention was a bird. I love birds and as long as you are a fairly neat person they are fun and not as dirty as some believe. Stay away from seed diets and you will have a cleaner and healthier pet. Also get one that is already tame and was a hand fed baby.
Look into birds, Then my choice is dogs. I have two little dogs that are wonderful buddies.

I never had a ferret so I don't know. I had a cat and a dog and the dog is better. The cat just sits there and eats and sleeps (except for young ones that play). The dogs are maybe a bit more difficult to take care of, but it pays off. They are always happy when you come home and they don't ever let you feel alone. Maybe like a person that can't talk.

A dog definitely. You are asking which animal people would choose for a pet correct?
Dogs interact more with people and are more fun. They are more useful to me and humans in general.

i would choose a cat. i love both cats and dogs but i look at it this way. you don't have to get up at 4 am to let her out to potty, they are usually not loud enough to annoy neihgbors/don't bark, if you have a emergency that keeps you away for 12-16 hours, and you have kibbies out and fresh water they are ok. easier to scoop litter pan than pick up entire backyard of poop. as for ferrets they are cute, but i am very allergic to them so for us they are out of the question

I'd take a cat, as long as it would be like the cat I currently have, she is loyal and social like a dog, but better because she's a cat =)

I'd choose a dog because they love you, are loyal, and can help you cope through any part of your life. They are loveable, fun, and forgiving.

i be conscious of of a few vets who "specialize" in merely dogs, cats, horses, exotics, and so on. yet those are generally general vets. in the time of faculty you will could locate out approximately all categories of animals, despite in case you do not decide to artwork with those animals.
