We should do whatever it takes to lower greenhouse gases. This Global warming will effect generations to come if we dont do something right now. This administration has covered up the truth and does not want to take any responsibility in this matter....just another failed policy of this administration!

I have a feeling that politicians don't really care about climate change, and just pay lip service trying to gain public credibility.
In the UK it could be said that politicians are miss leading people with statements about global warming! - There is the notion that we are causing so much pollution , gassing everyone with clouds of co2 gas emissions and are responsible for the end of the world, the fact is we're not! the UK accounts for just about 2% of total world wide emissions , and even if we were to reduce our emissions to zero, not one thing in the world would change.

If you listen to the likes of Blair Brown Cameron and others, our cheap air fares, our driving cars and heating our homes is very bad! and we will be made to pay environmental taxes to cover the damage.. yeah right! no one seems to know where these monies go!.. its a sad fact that people of the UK are being lied too duped and miss represented by those who ought to know better for no better reason than to raise taxes to fund other none environmental issues .

If they really cared about the environment they would have banned the sale of old style tungsten filament light bulbs, insisted that all cars do at least 5o miles to the gallon, paid for older houses to be insulated - ordered the local authorities to replaced old style street lamps, - told commercial building owners not to leave lights on all night, insist that tv and other home electrical equipment is switched off completely and not switched to standby - and instigated the building of 25 new nuclear power stations to remove co2 emissions from coal and gas fired power stations from the UK total.

Since they havnt done any of these things, some of which wouldn't involve governmental cost at all then it has to be said that the stern report will end up like many others talked about but not acted on.
