I thinks its because he is gorgeous & he gets loads of attention from women, so the guys get angry coz thier girlfriends like him & the fact that he is such a talented player makes them more angry because they cant even say his a bad player. Come on Guys he is not gay - he is what you call a metrosexaul - a straight guy that takes care of his physical appearance just like Beckham. I dont understand why you guys hate him.

You know something? Going on about how "gorgeous" some player is doesn't do much to stop mens image of the average female football fan and why they watch the sport in the first place! Dont be too surprised if some guy criticizes you for not caring about anything in the sport except the guy's legs..you dont do anything in favour for other women fans.
Anyhow,guys dont really give a damn how he looks, thats just a obvious & easy way to criticize him.
Its because, although he is certainly a skilful player, he is very cynical..he ALWAYS falls over to look for a free kick or a penalty, instead of trying to carry on. In England, fans consider that to be the act of a cheat, which is the lowest of the low. Its not to do with the incident with Rooney at the WC, because outside of Man Utd, English fans dont like Rooney either!

You have got me started now. I am english and in football we have a big hatred towards Pretty much all Countries but Portugal is one of the worst probably 2nd to Germany grrr. In Jersey in the Euro 2004 and World Cup 2006 when england and portugal have met we have had riots with 100s of people. So from that Cristiano Ronaldo didnt get a very good start in his football carear with english people. Then when he came to the premiership he dived alot which is highly frowned upon. Then when England played Portugal in 2006 Worldcup Quarter Finals when wayne rooney was sent of for his stamp on Charvalo, Cristiano Ronaldo winked at the ref after he pulled the red card which means he had influenced the ref in the sending off and cost us the chance to get through the compition. That is why we all hate Cristiano Ronaldo not because he is a metrosexaul as you say.

He is one of the best players from the world!!!!!For me he is the best!I love him!In England he is booed because of the incident with Rooney from the World Cup.It was Rooney's mistake and Cristiano had to be for his country and nation then,not for friends.He played very beutiful,he scored goals and he always made a show on the grass.He didn't think of the people that was booing him.He was sad and the pain was in his heart,but he played and now is in a really great form!!!!!!His dribilngs,croses,tricks and goals are great!!!HE IS NOT.GAY,CHEATER OR DIVER!!!The people are JEALOUS on him because at his age he is so talented,at a great team and the best from the world!!!!Yes,he cryed.But is normally for ALL PEOPLE to cry.EVEN FOR MEN!!!Let him alone!And btw they are JEALOUS too because he is the hottest man on Earth and all the girls love him!My Roony is the best!!!!!!!!Kisses for him!!

i am a girl and i hate Christino Ronaldo
but that is probably cuz
i play football(soccer) so know the rules and can tell who is a good player
i think he is selfish and wastes attacks cuz he doesn't pass to his team mates
i mean, that is what a team is about, right?
