I am positive we have someone else using our internet connection. The usage we have way exceeds what our family uses. I have a Belkin router how can I make it secure so others cant access it? Thank you. I have tried heaps of times to get into the 192 etc address but it always says page cannot be displayed. but i can always get other internet

Use encryption (WEP?) amd possibly authentication. Restrict the access to known MAC addresses of you computers and devices only.

What operating system are you using? If it's windows, click on start->run and type cmd in the box, . In the window that's opened, type "ipconfig /all" From this, you should be able to figure out the ip address (a.b.c.d) of your wireless router or access point. (Or you may be able to get it from Control Panel -> Network Panel -> Wireless Network Connection *). Use this IP address in the URL box of your browser to access and configure your wireless router/AP.
