Would you drink effluent (sewage) water even if it has been through many filtration systems and is perfectly safe for drinking?
I would but I would never like to be told about it or reminded about it with every drink of water i have. What about you?

all water is recycled no matter where you get it , its a natural process , filtering it probably makes it cleaner than usual

Any town located on a river filters its sewage and puts the resulting water into the river. The next ton downstream takes it, filters it and uses it for domestic water. So most of our water is recycled anyway.

I used to work in the water supply and sewage treatment in Canberra and I know the people downstream got our treated effluent

What angers me is it should never have got to this stage! The water issue in Australia has been grossly mismanaged for too many years! Too many people, too little drinking water. Industry should have been using recycled water from the beginning, but instead huge companies like BHP are using massive amounts of clean drinking water just to wash their coal while we are left to drink crap! Hardly fair really.

Don't you know that the water that comes in that Evian bottle has been around the world thousands of times and has been through every living thing? Hell the next glass of water you drink might even be Michael Jacksons pee.

Does not bother me in the slightest. I'd rather recycled water than no water that's for sure. We don't have a lot of options, and London has managed to use recycled water just fine.

confident, i could do it. maximum folk on earth cant get get right of entry to to any style of unpolluted water, and we are so spoilt we dont want to drink it only because of the fact it would have been in a rest room as quickly as, and then purified. All water is recycled.

I wont drink it because I can't get past the thought & its not a nice thought but some women have abortions at home & the very tiny baby goes down the loo & that upsets me to think I may drink the baby & thats what we would be doing because it is true

G"day
I will drink it when it comes to town. We have that much crap in our foods the water would be safer. Water is going to be worth more than any other product on earth one day soon, He who controls the water, controls the masses.
