I was arguing with a friend of mine about his habitual tardiness whenever we'd meet up to hang out. He claims that since he actually has a watch, he knows the time.

However, everytime I look over at it when he comes, he's like 15-30 minutes late over the dot.

He says life sucks without a watch. I wonder what's the use if he's not using it?

What do you think?

Just tell him to show up whenever and save yourself some grief. He is gonna do that anyway. Or tell him to meet you 15 minutes earlier than necessary.

My ex used to do that all the time...! She would suck up energy by doing that. Some people like it when we wait after them...It gives them the illusion to be extra special and important!!!The only remedy is this: As soon as the expired time comes , you leave right away. You are legit in your action , but he won't . He will do this no more than 2 or 3 times tops! Just leave, for the only fact that this is lack of respect and draining for you to be treated like that.If you respect yourself, he will have no other choice but to follow your lead. Trust me , this works. People who do that on a regular basis are vampires for your energy .

tardiness is a very bleak sign of selfishness and HABITUAL tardiness is a real sign of lack of respect for other people...I don't condone tardiness in the least....on a rare instance there can be a reasonable excuse/I prefer explanation....but not very often!!

Yeah, I'd have to say he could care less about tadiness, or at least when he's with you. It could be that since you're both friends he doesn't feel the need to worry about being on time.

I think his watch is just to slow or maybe he is like child, he need you to lead him or maybe he lacks self respect and time manage skill.
