How can you make legally 30 dollars legally in 4 hours in a small town with no job... A bookie is gonna break my knees if I don't get 'im all the money. PS I don't like selling my stuff.

Easily done - go out and offer to do small or odd jobs for people. It can be anything, mowing grass, or fixing things around the house. Many people who are elderly or totally pressed for time will take you up on it, given you are personable, efficient and presentable. Mentioning who you are and where you live will be a help I'm sure, so that way they know you aren't a scammer or something from out of town.
What's wrong with selling your stuff? I would gladly get rid of some old jewelry I never wear or electronics that don't get used to save my knees from being broken. Be sensible, now.

There's no limit to the hours you can legally work in a day unless you're in a restricted occupation like airline pilot or truck driver, so you could legally work 24 hours. Not sure why you think the employer can't force you to take a break - they can. And if it's 30 minutes, it can be unpaid, as long as you aren't required to do work during that time. You haven't said anything that they're doing that's illegal.

errr...consider whether $30 dollars worth of your stuff sold at a pawn shop is worth more than your knees!!
Or...since you're a gambling type...try your luck at a slot machine.
