I think you are referring to Bio-Energiser - Detox Foot Bath....it works by passing a small electric current through the water which removes toxins...water can vary in colour following treatment depending upon the level of toxins in the body.....there are of course people who are not able to have the treatment...ie epileptics etc but a good qualified practitioner should be able to advise...there are also foot baths available on the internet average prices £150 -£200 but you really need to know what you are doing so I would personally advise treatments with a qualified insured therapist or chiropodist..should be listed in your telephone directory or on the Federation of Holistic Therapists website which I think is www.fht.co.uk

Not of the footbath but I have heard of footpads that you stick on your feet at night which does the same thing- they turn brown or black. Maybe cheaper than what you are describing. You can buy them at health food stores and some pharmacies.

I just drink water mixed with apple cider vinegar to rid myself of any toxins in the body I might have. Look up apple cider vinegar on the web. Makes hair and nails grow. Very inexpensive. Just pennies per glass.
