Explain this to me. Back in the 1800s, a white family owned black slaves. And then a descendent of the white family is now a ghetto white boy. This doesn't make any sense. Why do white guys try to act like the main stream population of black culture? If you are black, then acting gangster is cool, but if you are white, then you are just being a poser. And of course, not all blacks are gansters, and there are some whites who can act ganster. But most of the time it looks bad when white guys try to act ganster. Don't you think?

The "mainstream" population of black culture? If you are black, then acting gangster is cool? What are you, 12? Do you have any idea how offensive and insulting you are? You obviously don't know any black people and you watch too many rap videos. Acting "gangster" is NEVER cool for anybody, no matter what culture they come from.

Why do some white people act ghetto? Maybe because they're ignorant and they have no class. Or maybe they spend too much time in front of the tv watching rap videos.

instead of enjoying the game, detect a answer. The ghetto's have been initially a place for undesirable human beings, they nonetheless are! you have not have been given a challenge against ghettos, its deeper than that! The adolescents of immediately all desire time and beneficial components, and interest. those are issues they can't get at living house. i will promise u there substitute right into a minority in that group that incredibly did not decide to behave like that, yet so as to get the attention they look for or to be seen as cool, they went alongside with it. I went to a predominately white severe-college. i substitute into teased and heckled continuously. when I wore braids in my hair i substitute into observed as Shay nay nay, or maybe the N be conscious on activities. It wasn't till college while considered one of my hecklers who I had a classification with (race family members mockingly) from severe-college admitted he continually felt undesirable that they teased me, and if he did not pass alongside they observed as him down or maybe an N-lover,r if he informed his acquaintances to pass away me on my own! i be conscious of you're indignant and that i may be too, continually combat the forged combat. look for God on what's the ultimate thank you to handle the placement. We attain what we sow, what is going around comes around, and the same element will come back to them, in all threat in reformatory or reformatory, through fact the subsequent time they could take it too far! Peace!

Maybe more white gangsters should act like Al-Capone, Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde, Lucky Luciano, Or that guy in that movie. Tony Montana, or did you see Gangs of New york? How about the Butcher. Cool Dude! Wait wait! Jesse James, Billy the Kid......etc. I think black gangs like to imitate themselves being more like these guy's.

This response is for "Yves": Here is something for you to think on - I am far from ashamed of my heritage or culture, so get with that skipper. Apparently you don't leave the house much...

As for the individual asking the question: how are you sure that all white dudes emulating black culture are descendents of slave owners? What kind of propaganda have you been fed all of your life? Are ALL white people descendents of slave owners? I'm not - and alot of others aren't either.

Have you ever thought of this - people emulate other people. Do you get this bent out of shape when you see a black dude or asian dude wearing a cowboy hat? Do you get mad because they are acting all "cowboy"?

This is America - it is a melting pot of all types of people from all types of cultures with all kinds of styles...where have you been?

yes, this happens not only in America but foreign countries.
Japan has a lot of young people who pose as blacks
I did not see this in Germany..maybe the skin heads?
In the Philippines i seen it also but the Filipinos are just copying anything that happens in the states.
There was that movie about that Malibu..etc etc
Look at Steve Martin in a movie where he thought he was black
Life imitates art.

yeah, I hate it when I see some turd trying to act like someone he's not..... especially when he has grown up on a farm his whole life making love to chickens, but later in the day he'll be driving down the road in his s**t covered pickup truck with Tu Pac in the CD player...... if he ever got around a bunch of black people who are what he tries to act like he'd be sh***ing his pants.

I think that it is more about the music (rap, etc) more than anything else. Don't forget, too, that many white children are poor and grow up in the ghetto (or trailer park).

Well everyone is different and i think that most white Americans are embarrassed of their culture or custom and when they see black people, they admire that style and custom and i think there's no problem with that.Everyone does admire someone or something.
