Because technology is makng us stupider. We no longer have the brain capacity to do the simplest task because we are so used to computers doing everything for us.

What? Ever tried reading one of those things from cover to cover? Technology is getting too techie, while the Average Joe is left to decipher the instructions left by some hotshot engineer who thought, "this is so obvious."
It's obvious you don't need this forum. Go someplace else to enlighten other dumb, lazy cellphone owners who don't bother to read the instructions.

it is a lot more than cell phone handbooks. I have sympathy however, if a device is not intuitive enough for me to figure out on my own it is poorly designed.
