Tell them that if they have an issue with other races, then to stay away and never speak to me again. Everyone is equal in my eyes.

Sounds like whoever the original friend is wants to be the center of attention. Not to mention the fact that if the person really knows you, he/she knows that you have a friend of the "other race". So when the person wants to be a flake they can easilly freak out about that and get out of it. Not to mention it makes "great conversation"...

If that person is your real friend, then they should be able to accept anyone because of any race. You shouldn't befriend your other friend just because of their race, stand up for them!

You ditch the friend with the problem. Someone who is that shallow will probably not be much of a friend in the long run anyway. But are you sure its their skin colour that is the problem?

It depends, are you a leader or a follower? do you want people telling you what to do? who to talk to? what to wear? who you can sleep and eat with? if you let your friend dictate your preferences, they will eventually get you into trouble.

Congratulate him on his honesty. He's just avoiding; he's not engaging in violence or improper conduct.
