If you are going to stay in a good hotel you can expect everybody understands simple English words and some speaks very good. If you are not going in an organised tour you need to learn many things in order to move easily in the street.
The Pyramid = El Haram
Pyramids district and the long street is called Haram
Down Town = West El balad
The Museum = El Mat'haf
Here = Hena (it's used if you want to tell the driver to stop in a certain place)
There = Henak
hello or hi are understood as it is in Egypt
Welcome = Ahlan
Welcome (a reply of thank you) = Afwan
Hello (for the phone) = Alo or Aloo
Egypt = Masr
Cairo = El Kahira
England = Engeltera
English = Englisi
Sphinx = Abu El Howl
Camel = Gamal
Horse = Hosan
Monuments = Athar
Good morning = sabah el Khier
Good afternoon or evening = Mesa' El Khier
yes = Aywa No = La'a
Also other ways mentioned in the other messages are right but I suggest that you use what you feel easy and don't worry about language much but try to understand the people mentality if you will move alone.
I wish you best of time and welcome in Egypt
