I'm just curious ...is it true???

No, it's not true! Many European countries are more laid back about nudity than the United States, for example, but this doesn't mean that you'll see naked people all over the beaches. Topless sunbathing for women is not uncommon, but in my experience, only naturalist beaches have naked people.

YES in France and Germany, they don't have the hang ups with their bodies like we Americans do ......but most of the beaches are marked so you know whether the are family oriented or allow nude bathing...i don't know about Holland couldn't find anything ...some beaches in U.K. are nude also and marked

i live in germany now. and at the pools here, people aren't as self conscious as people in the states. it is nothing to see a woman's breast. i've never seen a grown woman walk around with no top. i have seen many woman undress outside at the pool, and sunbathe with no top. also little kids can swim naked. you'll see like 10 year old girls in the pool with just bottoms on.

i know in berlin, germany there is a park called tiergarten near the berlin zoo that does allow nudity. there is no beach there and i think it may only be partial nudity.
